I really enjoy the I Survived series because of 2 things:

1) Its historical fiction. I enjoy the historical fiction genre because I like how the author took time and made a character and put in a that moment and makes the book more interesting to read.

2) It also teaches me about the moment. From Pearl Harbor to 9/11, it taught me about how these real experiences(that never should have happened) are put into play where the author teaches you about the historical moment and makes it interesting to read.
