For the month of April, I read the novel Divergent by Veronica Roth. This book is about a girl named Tris living in a dystopian Chicago. The city is separated into factions created to prevent war. Each faction blames a different reason for war and fighting; selfishness, lying, cowardice, dumbness, and aggression, and each faction trains their members base on it. When Tris takes her test to see which faction she’s cut out for, she discovers a very dangerous fact about herself, and must work even harder through initiation, the training for her chosen faction, to protect it.
