i know that this post may seem to be a little early but i promise that i finished this book! i love this book this book i have read this book two  times now. it has two story in it one story is about a little girl named Nya and the other story is about Salva. this is a true story. it is about the war war in between the north and south Sudan and this is when it was one state all to gather. but Salva take a trip across Sudan towards Ethiopia to a refugee camp. i want to tell more but you will have to read it to find out!
