This month, I read a book called “The Giver”, by Lois Lowry. I was intrigued by the plot of this story when I first picked it up and it didn’t disappoint me. The author portrays the idea of a future society that is unnatural so well that, by the end of the book, I wanted a sequel that explained everything that happened after. The main character’s point of view is told very well. It was very entertaining to read a narrative that described how it [Minor Spoiler?] feels like to see color for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I highly recommend this to any reader out there. The ending will leave you hanging.
